Vertical Shaft End Cap Assembly
This end cap assembly is used with the Mini-Hand Held Cutter. I have re-listed the end cap assembly in this section for quick reference and ease of viewing.
With the Mini-Hand Held Cutter it is very important to mount the bolts vertically and that it does not require tension springs nor figure-of-8 rings. These are not included for a few different reasons...
Due to the small distance between the two cutting arms, there physically is not enough room to have a decent cutting length with the spring and figure-of-8 hook in place.
Also, due to the natural tension of the PVC to resist bending it provides an adequate amount of tension on the NiChrome to keep it taught while heated.
Finally, you simply cannot use the spring & figure-of-8 hook with the rigid wire because it will not stay in proper form when you attempt to cut.

Picture may not be drawn to scale, but will give you a sequencing for attaching your stove bolt to the end cap assembly.
A wing nut will be used at the end to allow quick removal of your NiChrome Wire.
In this diagram the nichrome wire is attached directly to the threads of the stove bolt, and secured in place using the washers & wing nut against the outermost full/hex nut.
The bolt will enter the cap on one side, and penetrate fully through to the other side. As you pass the bolt through the cap, you will need to attach each of the internal components.
