I wanted to link to this website, not so much because they have supplies for hot wire foam cutters. Rather, this website is GREAT for all of your other hobby supply needs. Because after all most of us are cutting foam to build hobby terrain. But for those that aren’t, this website may still have the supplies you need for your hobby project!

Digi-Key has a ton of electrical components including resistors and rheostats. The banner is a direct link to their products page, for you to search literally thousands of electrical products.

The search functions are sometimes a bit overwhelming. But if you just choose your known requirements like resistance, or wattage, then you should be able to find what you need.

What a great website!

While the components are a bit more expensive than what you might be able to find at your local hardware store, the quality of these PVC products are truly furniture grade quality. There are also some non-traditional angle and corner pieces that are not used in a normal setting which are only made by these folks.

The website is worth checking out and might be an option for some of you remote viewers as well!

Foam Factory Inc. operates under a sister site FoamByMail.com and not only has a wide variety of foam but is a great resource for information regarding all types of foam. They have a great blog that they will discuss the different properties of foam products, including their benefits and draw-backs.

I recommend this site for anyone that is looking from packing foam to hard polystyrene products. They have the cheapest prices I’ve been able to find yet..!
